# How to Sell Spawners: Shop, Crates and Gift Setup

## How to Sell Spawners: Shop, Crates and Gift Setup

**Quick answer:** to sell spawners, make your shop or crate plugin run a **console command** when a player buys or wins one. With EliteSpawner the command is `/esp give <player> mob <type> [amount]`. Set the price, decide how many each player can get, and keep paid spawners from becoming pay-to-win.

## The give command

```
/esp give <player> <mob|item> <type> [amount]
```

Use `mob` for mob spawners and `item` for item spawners, and the `type` name from `mob_spawners.yml` or `item_spawners.yml`. Tab completion lists your types. Example for a console command run by a shop:

```
esp give %player% mob elite_zombie 1
```

Replace `%player%` with whatever placeholder your shop plugin uses.

## Set up an in-game shop

1. Install a shop plugin and Vault with an economy. See [Vault Setup](https://www.zcraftstudios.com/blog/vault-economy-plugin-setup).
2. Create a shop menu item for each spawner type.
3. Set the buy price and the command to run, for example `esp give %player% mob <type> 1`.
4. Test with a non-operator account that has enough money.
5. Check inventory-full handling so purchases are not lost.
6. Log purchases for support.

## Limit supply

Scarcity keeps value. Options:

- Limit how many a player can buy per day or week
- Raise price after each purchase
- Make top tiers crate or event rewards
- Stop selling a tier for a while, and announce it

## Selling spawners for real money

If you sell spawners in a web store, remember:

1. Check Mojang's current commercial usage guidelines before selling anything.
