## About this resource
## Modern Maintenance Messages Config: Minecraft MOTD & Maintenance Screen
A polished configuration for the Maintenance plugin, giving your server a professional look during downtime instead of a plain default kick message.
## What's Included
- Styled maintenance configuration
- Premium server-list MOTD with gradient title text
- Countdown timer messages
- Player count and version text
- Hover messages for the server list
- English language file with MiniMessage formatting
- Staff join notifications during maintenance
- Player kick handling with a styled message
- Timer broadcasts
- Discord and community link placeholders
- Standalone backend setup that works without extra plugins
## Why Use This
Default maintenance screens are a wall of plain text. This config gives players a clear, branded reason the server is down, with a countdown and links to your Discord instead of a dead end.
## Compatibility
Built for Paper/Spigot servers running the Maintenance plugin.
## Install
Drop the config into your Maintenance plugin folder and reload. See the README for placeholder setup.
## Frequently Asked Questions
**Does this require any plugin besides Maintenance?**
No. It's a standalone config for the Maintenance plugin with no extra dependencies.
**Can I edit the countdown timer duration?**
Yes, timer placeholders are documented in the README.
**Will players see this immediately after install?**
Yes, once the config is reloaded, the new MOTD and maintenance screen apply immediately.
